SLIM Documentation

SLIM takes an export from your existing integration platform, works out what those integrations actually do today, and builds the equivalent SnapLogic pipelines — producing documentation, tests and an audit trail along the way.

This documentation is written for the people who run modernization projects and the people who review them. It assumes no coding and no knowledge of how SLIM is built.

Two things to know before you start

Deployment is always yours. SLIM can run every stage of analysis and generation on its own, but it never deploys to a SnapLogic environment. You choose the environment and you choose what goes. See Stage 5 - Platform Deploy.

Generated output has to be checked. Everything SLIM produces is a strong starting point, not a finished answer. It can look right and be wrong, and it tells you where it is unsure. See Verifying the Output.
